Kurt Meyer Campaign at District Convention

District ConventionApril 26, 2008 - Delegates gathered in Boone on Saturday, April 26 for the 4th District Convention.  The Kurt Meyer for Congress Campaign had a significant presence at the convention with the Campaign Mobile serving as outdoor hospitality suite.  We served hundreds of delegates coffee, brownies and water as they worked their way through the conference agenda.

Meeting Voters in Forest City, Mason City

Mitchell County Democrats Endorse Kurt Meyer for Congress

Mitchell County EndorsementMarch 21, 2008 - The Mitchell County Democratic Central Committee voted un-animously at their regular meeting in March to endorse Kurt Meyer for Congress and accompanied their endorsement with a $500 campaign contribution.  Kurt is seeking to become the Democratic nominee to oppose Tom Latham in the fall. 

Meyer Family Delivers 28-County Presence on Convention Day

Kurt Meyer Files Nomination Papers

Democrat Kurt Meyer filed to run for Congress in Iowa’s 4th Kurt Meyer and Michael MauroCongressional District on Tuesday March 4, 2008. Kurt Meyer, a non-profit executive and Mitchell county resident commented “We intend to ‘March Forth’ to victory,” as he handed over his signed petitions to Iowa Secretary of State Michael Mauro. He became the first candidate to file nomination papers for the office currently held by Tom Latham.

Democrat Kurt Meyer Announces Candidacy For Congress

Mason City, Iowa---Fifth generation Iowan Kurt Meyer stood with his family and friends today to announce his plans to run for Congress in Iowa’s Fourth Congressional District. Meyer and his family were joined by supporters, community leaders and local activists who are eager for a change in direction. Soup, Soup, Soup

Warren County, Story County and Boone County Democrats all held soup suppers during February and Kurt Meyer enjoyed them all.  Good food, new friends and supporting local Democratic efforts - what could be better!
